Booking Your Heritage Landing Event
To reserve a space at Heritage Landing for your wedding, family reunion, or other event, please complete our online reservation form. If you are interested in developing or moving a festival to Heritage Landing
Important to know:
- Some dates are reserved for annual festivals and large events: Girls on the Run, Trinity Health Seaway Run, Michigan Irish Music Festival, Unity Christian Music Festival, etc. and cruise ships at the Heritage Landing Cruise Ship Dock at The Point
- Summer dates are popular: Due to high demand, especially in summer, rental space fills up quickly.
- Book early: Reservation requests start January 1 of the calendar year you want to have the event. However, you must submit your request at least 30 days before your event.
- Available spaces: We offer the Pavilion, the Bridge, Heritage Park, and the Point for rental. Please note that some parts of Heritage Landing are open to the public and cannot be reserved exclusively.
- Insurance: All events require proof of liability insurance and liquor liability insurance (if applicable). Event insurance must be for a minimum of $1 million and should name the County of Muskegon as Additional Insured. Liquor liability insurance is in addition to general liability insurance. Beer, wine or liquor sales or distribution require approval from the City of Muskegon and a liquor license application to the Michigan Liquor Control Commission. The type(s) and amount of insurance coverage are subject to change based on the unique nature of your event.
- Confirmation: Your reservation isn't confirmed until we contact you to:
- Confirm your date
- Proof of insurance(s)
- Collect payment in full
