Parking permits are available as daily or seasonal passes. A day pass is $7, while a $25 seasonal park pass offers unlimited access and is a great way to save if you plan to visit more than a few times. 

Purchase your pass easily at:

  • Dune Harbor Park has self-serve kiosks that accept cards or cash.
  • Meinert Park Booth and Campground Office: 8390 Meinert Park Rd, Montague, MI. (Open from the first Friday in May until the last Sunday in September. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8AM to 10PM.) Accepts cash, checks, and all major credit cards.
  • Muskegon County Visitors Center: 610 W. Western Ave, Muskegon, MI (Summer hours are Mon-Fri, 9AM to 3PM and Sat 9AM to 2PM. Accepts cash and checks. If you purchased a season pass at a kiosk, bring your receipt here to exchange it for your physical permit (sticker).
  • Norton Shores City Hall: 4814 Henry Street, Norton Shores, MI (Open Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm) Accepts cash, checks, and all major credit cards (credit card purchase incurs $2 service charge)
  • Pioneer Park Office: 1563 N. Scenic Drive, Muskegon, MI (Open first Friday in May until the last Sunday in September, Mon-Fri, 8AM to 10PM) Accepts cash, checks, and all major credit cards 
  • Twin Lake County Park Booth: 6231 Main St, Twin Lake, MI (Open first Friday in May until the last Sunday in September, Mon-Fri, 8AM to 10PM)  Accepts cash and checks

The Muskegon County Visitors Center is also selling City of Muskegon beach parking passes for $40. If you purchased your pass at a kiosk, bring your receipt here to exchange it for a physical pass. Payment is accepted by cash or check only. Please make checks payable to: City of Muskegon.
