Which Accommodation Tax Filer Am I?

How long do you provide lodging each year?

If you provide lodging for 12 months per year

You are a Year-Round Property (Monthly Filer).

If you provide lodging for less than 12 months per year

You are a Seasonal Property (Quarterly Filer).

What you need to do

File and pay monthly

Due date: Returns and payments are due by the 15th of the following month

How to file: Online through Granicus

What you need to do

File and pay quarterly

Due date: Returns and payments are due by the 15th of the month following the reporting period

How to file: Paper filing form available from Visit Muskegon

Option: Seasonal owners may opt into monthly online filing through Granicus if preferred
