Your Guide to a Firecracker Fourth of July in Muskegon County!

Get ready for a sizzling celebration this Fourth of July in Muskegon County! This guide has everything you need to plan an unforgettable experience.

Light Up the Night with Fireworks!

There’s nothing quite like the Fourth of July in Muskegon County. The sun sets over the water, music fills the air, and the night sky lights up with fireworks reflected on Muskegon Lake.

This year, in downtown Muskegon the celebration starts with a new pre-fireworks party at Heritage Landing. From 8:00 to 10:00 PM, DJ Prim will be spinning music while food trucks serve up local favorites. It’s a great chance to grab a bite, meet up with friends, and enjoy the lakeshore before the main event.

Around 10:20 PM, the fireworks begin. The view from the festival grounds at Heritage Landing makes for a classic summer night on the lakeshore. Bring a blanket or a couple of chairs, settle in, and watch the sky come alive over the water. More info HERE.

Double the Fun: Parade and Fireworks at White Lake

Celebrate the Fourth of July with small-town charm and community spirit in the White Lake area. The day begins at 10:00 AM with the annual White Lake Area Fourth of July Parade. Starting at Whitehall City Hall and winding its way to Montague City Hall, the route is lined with flags, families, and more than 80 festive entries. The parade is proudly led by the American Legion and VFW, honoring the heart of the holiday.

After the last float passes by, spend the afternoon exploring local shops, grabbing a bite to eat, or enjoying the parks and trails along the water.

As night falls, find a cozy spot by White Lake and watch the fireworks light up the sky. The show begins at dusk and offers a picture-perfect end to a classic summer day. More info HERE.
