File & Pay Accommodation Taxes (Granicus)
Granicus is Muskegon County’s preferred method for filing accommodation tax returns and submitting payments. Eligible lodging providers may file electronically, make payments, and manage their accommodation tax account in one secure system.
Returns and payments are due by the 15th of the month following the reporting period, even if no reservations were made during that period. When returns are filed through Granicus, any applicable penalties, interest, and processing fees are automatically calculated based on the timing of the filing and payment.
Most lodging providers should use Granicus for current reporting periods. Property managers or authorized representatives may also file on behalf of owners using this system.
If you are unsure whether Granicus applies to your reporting period, review the Forms, FAQs & Helpful Resources page before submitting.
